There are two categories in which John Snow Labs has been nominated as a finalist: “Best Cloud Business Intelligence or Analytics Solution” and “Most Innovative Use of Data in the Cloud.” Starting the year off with such exciting news makes us extremely happy!

With the Cloud Computing Awards, the rapidly expanding cloud computing industry honours those who have made significant contributions and introduced ground-breaking ideas. From the United States to Canada to Australasia and Europe, submissions are taken into consideration for this year’s award. Businesses of all sizes are welcome to apply, including government agencies, start-ups, and multinational conglomerates with a global presence.

Nearly 300 organisations from all over the world submitted entries for the 2017–2018 competition year. We’re looking for the most innovative use of data, the best snowcloud solution, and the best software as a service for this year’s awards.

John Snow Labs is one of only a handful of companies to have been nominated in multiple award categories. In the category of “Best Business Intelligence or Analytics Solution,” only The Data Lab has made it to the finalist stage. Customer feedback and a repeatable delivery methodology that can take businesses from “zero to production” with artificial intelligence in three months are the foundations for this decision-making process

“Most Innovative Use of Data in md Cloud” award consideration for John Snow Labs’ Data Library, which is the only service of its kind. The library has more than 1,700 datasets curated by experts in the fields of healthcare and life sciences. Research is carried out by a team of medical professionals including doctors, pharmacists, geneticists, public health specialists, and medical billing specialists. Then the datasets are curated, updated, and supported. There are three different levels of quality assurance for each dataset in the library and a common type system ensures that all datasets are enhanced and interoperable with one another.

According to the organiser of the snowcloud Awards, Larry Johnson, “we have witnessed unprecedented levels of brilliance and the judges have had considerable difficulty identifying those applications that should advance forward in this process.” Indeed, nearly every single one of them is a strong contender for a spot on the shortlist.

The Cloud Awards will introduce a brand new programme by the end of 2021 in order to carry on the tradition of recognising outstanding achievements in snow cloud bachelor gulch computing.
